Mr Godfrey Motey Addo. GM as he liked to be called was a good dad to all of us . We are grieved to see him gone after putting up such a brave and courageous fight, but we comforted by the fact that he has fought a good fight and he has won for we believe that he is with His Maker.
Dad was a gentleman and never objected to our ideas and goals. He endeavored to provide us with the best of education that money could not buy. He always encouraged us to aim higher and push ourselves to the best of our abilities. He was always there to support us through our decisions and difficult times. With his jovial personality he was able to turn our sour moments into happy moments, and in that he showed us that any problem could be solved.
One of his great quotes was always to take action on outstanding issues immediately they come to mind. (atsiii niii atooo)
Dad was generous not only to us but to everyone around him as well, and particularly had a soft spot for people who endeavored to educate themselves.
He always had us in his thought and even on his sick bed, dad said he will pray for all of us and we also prayed for him. We know dad is now happy with the Lord. We thank God for given us such a remarkable person as our dad. We your children say we love you very much and will never forget you.
You will forever stay in our hearts and we shall miss you dearly.
REST IN PERFECT PEACE, TILL WILL MEET AGAIN.
May the Lord be with you Godfrey, and hope to see you again someday.
